We love this song in the context of spiritual healing. It evokes the image of the fall of Adam and Eve, who tried to hide after they had realized what they had done. Like them, Jesus calls all of us out of hiding.
One song that sounds way more Catholic than it probably was intended. With Jesus' real presence in the Eucharist, this song has profound meaning when we sit before Him in a Catholic church.
As the story goes, this song was written about addiction, or a friend of Bono who died of overdose. It reminds us of how far we would go for someone we love.
